The Elephant

These winter-themed images of life and beauty arise from within the darkest of times, when everything has a cold and hardened surface. All of my images beg us take a little time and look closer to find the beauty, the warmth, and the light that is inherent in all things. It’s a radical act to put this effort into those things that are easy to hate, dislike, and be repulsed by – such as others’ hatred – but that is also when it’s especially valuable. Look closely at disease, decay, darkness and see that these aspects of life are part of a process leading to new life and growth. There is always hope to be found!
